My laptop version of canvas has been unable to log in since the beginning of this semester. My laptop is an Apple OS.

Double-checking your browser's version is a great place to start. However, some languages are causing issues with the dashboard and other course content loading. You can follow [OPEN] Users unable to load Dashboard for updates and for more information.
If you contact Support, they will link you to the ticket and you'll receive updates along the way. I know it's not an immediate solution, but I hope it helps provide some clarity!
