Canvas for UTM

I recently had my laptop break down and had to get a new one. When I log on to the UTM Canvas page it is saying that my Google Chrome browser does not meet the minimum requirements for Canvas. The laptop I got has updated all the updates that it can get, so do I have to get a new laptop in order to do my classes or will Canvas still work even without having the minimum updates done?

If you recently got a new laptop, you should be able to use Canvas without many issues at all.  If Google is not working for you, have you tried either Mozilla Firefox or the Microsoft Edge browser (assuming that you are on a Windows laptop for this particular one).  Both of those browsers should work, too.  You can check out this Guide...which has a built-in browser checker to see if your computer meets the minimum requirements:
