The Canvas login page does not accept my password. It indicates it is incorrect. I have cleared my cache in Chrome and Edge. I even requested a new password, but it never came through.
However, when I could log into this page using my login and current password I had no issues. I have a work partner that logged into Canvas using the same network with no issues.
I need to get into Canvas to my school work, please help!

Thank you for that clarification. You're going to need to reach out to the folks who maintain the Canvas environment listed below...as Canvas Community members wouldn't have that information.

Hello @barn32771 ...
Sorry to hear you are having issues with your password and logging in to Canvas. As you may know, each school that uses Canvas as their LMS (Learning Management System) most likely has a different way for their students and instructors to log in. So, while the instructions in:
How do I reset my password as a student?
...might provide some general guidance, you will most likely need to reach out to your school's IT department or their Center for eLearning department to get help with your password. Canvas Community members wouldn't have access to your username/password...as we only have access to our own Canvas environments.
I hope this will be of some help to you. Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
I just cannot log into the Canvas screen provided by this group with my password. I have been able to in before yesterday, with no issues. Why is that?
@Barn3277 ...
Are you referring to the screenshot under the "Reset Password" heading in the link that I had provided in my earlier response? That screen may look different for you than for others...depending on how your school has your login/password authentication set up. For example, if your school uses a single sign-on process, they may have their own custom login screen and a different process to reset your password. In those cases, you would need to reach out to your school's IT department directly to see what that process is. This is detailed in the second paragraph of the light blue box at the top of the Guide I had linked to in my earlier above response.
Hope this helps!
I am not referring to the screenshot under the Rest Password.
I am referring to not understanding why I can use the password and email to log into this section of Canvas (to ask questions). I can also log into my school's Canvas using the same password. But the Canvas screen that does not accept my login is the one I need to log into to access the other institution's link ( Log In to Canvas (elsevier.com). )

Thank You!
If your email is a google account, you can click on the G under the login button. Then you will click on the google email address you are using. You just need to remember you will then always need to use the G to login.
