Canvas "Too Long" error when editing RCE

I'm an ID and work as a manager of training and support for a Canvas Partner. A teacher from one of our institutions contacted us in regards to a "too long" error she is receiving while editing content in the RCE. When asked for the HTML for troubleshooting purposes, the PDF provided was 291 pages and over 18k words. We have confirmed that the error she's receiving is a Canvas error but I have been unable to find Canvas documentation to share with her. Is there documentation on this error someone can direct me to? While I know extremely long pages of content are poor design style and should be separated into much more manageable chunks, what does Canvas consider to be "too long"?

That is quite the page!! 

I tried to recreate the error, and I had 48,000 words on my page. I was able to save and publish. By chance, are there images or other embedded content included on the page? I am curious to find out what causes the error so we can perhaps include it our documentation.

I found a question from 2019 that may be related -- Why do I get a "too_long" error when posting an announcement?

The page did have 25 embedded images. I went through the code, removed them all, and it will now save the page. If there's anything I can provide to help with documentation, please let me know.

I get this as a result of embedding base64 images in the html editor for pages.
