Changing Test Grade

I created a quiz in Canvas worth 18 points. Our district grades everything on a 4 point proficiency scale. Is there a way to change how much the quiz is worth overall? Or would I need to create a different assignment grade and then make the original quiz not worth anything?

If your quiz is in New Quizzes rather than Classic Quizzes, you can go to the three dot menu of the assignment settings and edit the assignment points.  If submissions have already been turned in you will need to regrade the quiz for the points to be displayed correctly.  Canvas will automatically convert your 18 point new quiz to a 4 point scale before displaying the grade in the grade book.
