[ARCHIVED] Copying Courses From One Institution To Another

First off, please forgive me if this question has been answered already.  I am new to using the Canvas guides.  As an adjunct instructor I teach at more than one institution. Is it possible to copy a course created at one institution to another.  If so is there a guide for doing this?

Hello there, @ChrisSamuelson ...

Yes, what you can do is export your course (the one that has content in it), and that will let you download a file which you can then use to import into your other course at the other institution.  First, follow these instructions to export your course content: How do I export a Canvas course? - Instructure Community.  Then, once you have downloaded your export file, log into your other school's Canvas environment, and then follow the steps in this Guide: How do I import a Canvas course export package? - Instructure Community.  I hope this will be of some help to you!  Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
