I tried to cross-list my 5 sections of a course. When I added a section and cross-list, the first class disappeared form dashboard. I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Please help!

You're not doing anything wrong at all, actually. That's how it works. When you have five sections of a course (A, B, C, D, and E), and you want to cross-list them all together (let's say you want to cross-list them all into course A) ... all enrollments from sections B, C, D, and E from those courses get moved into course A. The content from courses B, C, D, and E doesn't move...only the enrollments. Once the cross-listing has been completed, you will only see course A when you log in to Canvas ... because your enrollments have moved from those other four courses. However, when you log in to Course A, go to the "People" page, and you'll see that you're still enrolled in each section...so it's all good.
