Disable, calendar, visibility

I would like to temporarily disable the visibility of the calendar hyperlink located underneath the Inbox. Our semester start time was delayed due to poor weather and now I have to re-set every event I created in the calendar.  This is going to take time and I prefer students not see this calendar (but I have released the Pages calendar) until I update the calendar cells with the correct information.
