Discussion Board Due Dates Not Showing Up in Student To Do Lists

A student is reporting that discussion board due dates are not showing up in their To Do list, while assignment due dates are showing up. The due dates are set for the discussion boards in the course. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or know how to fix it?

I have not had anyone report this to me.

Is this still happening for that student?

If it is, is the student using the mobile app? Is it the iPhone/iPad app or the Android app?

This is happening for multiple students on their desktop internet browsers. They've reported that the due dates have never showed up in their mobile app, but that last term, the due dates did appear in their internet browsers.

For the discussions, are you using checkpoints (as described in the  How do I create a graded discussion? - Instructure Community - 1019  guide)?

Yes, I'm using checkpoints. Students are able to see the due dates in the discussion boards themselves, but not in their To Do lists. However, when I enter Student View, I can see the due dates in the course To Do list.

Thank you, Doug. It looks like someone pointed out this issue back in July. However, it's odd that I can see the due dates (for both topic replies and peer replies) when I go to Student View, but the students can't. I hope this is still being looked at and there is a plan to fix it, though I don't see it in the Roadmap.

I haven't been hearing about this from many, but have two instructors that students are claiming it is happening to them. I'm surprised in October that they still haven't fixed it.

Yes, my students have been having this same issue! And I've triple-checked that the issue isn't on me and how I set things up.... I wonder if there's a glitch with the new checkpoints feature. I really hope they fix this ASAP because I was so excited about the checkpoints (which I feel should have been implemented ages ago)!
