Discussion History Missing with Speed Grader

I'm using checkpoint discussions not sure if it applies to those who don't use that feature.

If you use the speed grader and look at the individual posts view the history feature is missing. However if you switch to viewing the full discussion context it does.  This happens in both Chrome and Edge.

Please fix.

Hi Lawrence, the "history" feature is not a bug; it is a design choice in the Canvas "Discussions Redesign." When you are in the SpeedGrader, you are seeing a simplified view of the student's submission, and it does not include the full context of their edit history. To view the complete history of a discussion post, you must switch from the individual post view to the full discussion. This takes you out of the streamlined grading interface and into the comprehensive discussion thread, where the history feature is visible.

I'd be ok having to switch over to the full view but if there is no notification in speed grader I can't see that it was edited and switch to the secondary view.  Some sort of flag of a previous post would be greatly appreciated.
