Division-wide Assessment Calendar

New Canvas School Here - k-12 secondary.

We have three divisions, lower, middle and upper.  I want to find a way to show teachers what other major assessments are being planned for any given day, so we can avoid overtaxing students unnecessarily.  We call it the 'test calendar.'

How can I create a calendar view for each division that displays specific categories of assessment?  The assessment and categories already exist, as do sub accounts for each division.

I'd probably use the API...there's no out of the box method
