Hi, One of my students is receiving duplicate 'Push Notifications'. Is there a fix to this?

Hi @britta_falcon Thank You for your question.
I'm wondering if it's how they have set up their notifications. Here's a guide that you could share with them to do some trouble shooting. How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as a student?
If that doesn't help then they could contact Canvas Support. https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-17624-how-to-contact-canvas-support
Sing out if you need a hand.
I had the same issue. I found a fix for it.
let me know if this helps

Bobby,
I get the same email notification that the same student completed the same homework 15 times in my email. Many videos address the issue of frequency but not duplication. Any thoughts?

Thankyou @sofasupremum
I have been getting 3 alerts per canvas event on my iPhone. I followed your instructions and found there were 8 iOS tokens spanning 5 years (!) in their ‘last used’ date, and all stated ‘expires never’. I deleted all but the most recent one and I am not seeing the duplicated notifications any more.
