I had the same issue. I found a fix for it.

  1. login to canvas from desktop
  2. go to account > settings
  3. under approved integrations, you will find a list of access tokens as shown in image attached
  4. for me the list contained multiple instances of the same device. when i deleted all but one the problem was fixed
