Edit Assignment Page -- List assignments by Module or in order of appearance?

Is there a way to list assignments in order by Module on the "Edit Assignments Page?"  It would help when setting due dates if assignments within the same Module were grouped together.

Unfortunately not. All of the assignments will be listed in alphabetical order until you add dates to them.

However, I have a tip to help you. When I'm editing the dates in mass, I do so on a PC or laptop. At my side, I also have rhe modules showing on the Canvas teacher's app on my phone. Then I can easily see the names of the assignments that go in each module.

It would be super cool if on the "Assignments" page, one of the options under the three dots would be:

"Display in Module order"

"Display by Due Date"

Just like the grade book has.  There really seems not be any rhyme or reason to the way assignments are displayed - it doesn't seem to be alphabetical, or by date, and I always have to search for assignments.
