Emails from Canvas not arriving my students

Hello,

I've created a class but none of the emails to confirm the enrolment are arriving to students. 
How can one troubleshoot this issue?

Hello @DanielValente 

It sounds like the students account have not been created or something. This process might vary depending on your institution.

Does your school use a SIS(Student information system) to create users accounts? Or do they allow for students to create their own accounts? 

Is your course published? In order for students to receive an invite, the course must be published. One other thing to mention is that Users are not sent a course invitation until the course start date.

Thank you for your very detailed answer, the issue was really the start date.

All emails went out as soon as I changed the date from next monday to today.
