Entering point value for quiz

I can't find "points" field when setting up a quiz. I want to add the value of the quiz, but a field doesn't appear.

For current (classic) quizzes, there is no area to enter the total number of points for the quiz.  The total is automatically calculated based on the questions you include in the quiz and the number of points that you assign to those questions.  If you later change the point value for any question, the total will automatically be updated for you.

For New Quizzes (your school may not yet have this enabled), you can specify the number of points possible even before creating the quiz questions.  This Guide shows you how: How do I create an assessment using New Quizzes?.
