Equation Builder

We need a shortcut to open Canvas Equation Builder.  When building a lot of content, it takes 3 clicks and moving your hand away from the keyboard just to open the builder.  

When the builder opens, the cursor is not automatically placed inside the window, so it takes another click.  

With the update (a year or two ago), the builder was also removed from the main toolbar, which meant finding it in the drop down.  

Being able to customize the toolbar or putting it back on the menu would be greatly appreciated by us Mathematics teachers!

It might also be possible to accomplish this with custom javascript...or in the borwser with a locally run user script
