I have a course that often needs to export their rubrics for review. Since there isn't a built-in feature to export rubrics as a document or CSV, I came up with a workaround. I just wanted to know if there were plans to add an export feature in the future. Does anyone know anything about that?
Here's my workaround:
- Using the Chrome Browser or any browser that allows you to “Save as PDF” from the print menu, go to the “Rubrics” page in your course and open the rubric you want.
- Click on the “File” tab at the top of the window and then choose “Print” or right click on the page and choose "Print” from the options.
- From the Print menu, click on “Save as PDF” or click on the dropdown menu to save the page as a PDF.
- Pro Tip: exclude the Header and Footer from the printed document before saving it as a PDF.
- Save the PDF where you can easily find it (ex.: Desktop, Documents Folder, etc.).
- Open the PDF in Microsoft Word, the software has the capability to convert PDFs to Word docs built in.
- Resize your rubric and make any necessary changes, then save it.
