File Preview does not work on Safari

I recently found out that file preview does not work on Safari, mine is currently in version 15.3. This has never happened before, I tried with Chrome and it's still working. Is there anything I can do to fix this, I am used to Safari and do not want to switch to Chrome. Thanks a lot.

I have MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 with Safari Version 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6), and file previews are working fine for me. 

With that being said, can you confirm whether you have a typo in your Safari version number, or is it actually 15.3 (which would be quite old at this point)? 

• If it's 16.3, you could try disabling any Safari extensions you might have installed and clearing the cache.  Once you do that, you can close Safari, re-open it and try again to see if the problem is fixed.
• If it's actually 15.3, I'd recommend updating your MacOS to the latest version, which should also update Safari.  If you're unable to update to a newer MacOS (preferable Ventura, Version 13), it may unfortunately be about time to start looking into a new computer.

currently having this same problem. I am on safari version 15.3 macOS 12.2. Any tips are really appreciated.
