Filtering multiple sections in Gradebook does not align with Speed Grader.

I combine multiple sections into one "master" Canvas. If I filter by multiple sections and click on a cell in gradebook then Speed Grader a student other than the one clicked on appears.  This has been an issue for at least the last two semesters and is frustrating.  Obviously, the work around is to filter a single section at a time, but I often want to look at 2-3 sections  at a time (all sections in a day for example).  I have reported it twice to our university Canvas Liaison.  Hopefully, a fix for this bug is in the roadmap.
