Canvas- is there a way to run a grade report from Canvas? I am interested in seeing which students currently have a 72 or below in any class.

@LRWC Sorry that I misunderstood your initial post and made a suggestion assuming you were a teacher. The simplest way to get a report with all course grades is to go to the account Settings page, open the Reports tab, configure the Grades Report (typically by selecting the current term), and confirm. You will receive a link to download the report as a CSV in an email notification.
How do I view reports for an account?
Many types of reports can be generated on demand from this location.
You will notice that this grade report has many different versions of scores & grades.
These scores are percentages. Occasionally teachers have assignments set up in a way that will produce percentages consistently below or above what we expect. It might be helpful to calculate the average current score for each course (e.g. using an Excel Pivot Table) and flagging the ones that seem like they're not operating in the grade scheme you expect.
@LRWC A quick way to find students with low grades in your Canvas gradebook would be sorting row by Total Column grades low to high. If you would prefer downloading a file and working in Excel, you could export the gradebook. Filtering or sorting on the final score columns in the spreadsheet would work.
Hi @LRWC ...
Once you run a report like this (as detailed by @stimme), you could use the "New Analytics" screen to send a message to those students. On the "Course Grade" tab of the "New Analytics" screen, you could "Message Students Who" and choose a range of 0% to 72% and send a message that way. Just thought I'd throw this out there if you wanted to use it.

@stimme @Chris_Hofer Thanks so much for your response. I should have clarified how can I run such report as an admin vs. classroom teacher. What is the best way to do this?
@LRWC ...
You'd have to have permissions to be a Canvas administrator at your school. Administrators are usually limited to a select few people at your school (typically in your Online Learning / eLearning / IT departments) because of the vast number of administrative functions that are available. However, there might be ways that your Canvas administrator could set up a more limited role for you that would allow you to run reports. That would be a conversation you'd need to have with folks at your school. Hope this helps!
