Hi,
I just noticed that all of the gradebook filters I set previously for my classes are now gone. I have tried to add the filters again but once you refresh the page the filter is gone again. This was not an issue on Friday. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you for both replying. David, you might want to file a ticket with Canvas Support so that they can investigate this further for you. Since the filters were recently changed, maybe there is something behind-the-scenes that they need to fix? Who knows. You can contact Canvas Support by following the instructions in this Guide:
How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?
Please keep us up-to-date as you learn more...thanks!
Hi there, @david_landi ...
I am not sure if you frequent the Canvas Release Notes here in the Community that are released on a monthly basis, but Saturday was another Release Notes day for Instructure. They did make some updates to the Gradebook filters...being able to multi-select options now. I wonder if, due to this update, your filters were somehow "reset". You can read more about the update by navigating to: Canvas Release Notes (2024-03-16) - Instructure Community - 595880 (canvaslms.com). I'm not 100% sure of the correlation between this update and your saved filters, but if I had to make an educational guess, this is what I would think was the cause. I hope this will help in some way.
@Chris_Hofer I believe that @david_landi did try to recreate the filters and they disappeared again. So, it appears that the update may have caused an issue with saving the filters. I just tried it in one of my courses and I do not see the issue mentioned. So as you said, hopefully it is resolved now.
Ron
I just tried it again and am still having the same issue. I went to one of my Canvas courses, grade book, and then added a filter for startdate enddate. I then closed the browser, reopened it, and went back to the grade book, and the filter was gone.

Hi Chris,
I am experiencing the same issue. How do we fix it?
~ Pam
It is also doing it for me. It's really frustrating. I don't need to see the entire year's worth of grades...just the grades for this Quarter from Jan 9 - present. ~ Pam
It's very frustrating and it has made it very challenging for me to grade work for the current quarter. I submitted a ticket last week, but haven't heard anything.
