I set grade posting policy for an assignment to MANUALLY. Now i want to release the grades for folks who turned in the assignment. Should I click Automatically for Grade posting policy? Can I go back to MANUALLY for folks who have not yet submitted their work?
Solved! Go to Solution.
In the same place where you select the grade posting policy, you have an option to "Post grades". After clicking that, it asks if you want to post everyone's grades or just the graded ones, see image below.
When other student's works get graded, then you'd need to post them as well, repeating the process.

Hi @KathyKniepmann,
As referenced by @Gabriel33, when ready, you use "Post grades" described in the "How do I post grades for an assignment in the Gradebook?" support article at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-post-grades-for-an-assignment-in-the-Gr....
Is there anything else that we can help with?
