I am trying to grade assignments for students. As I click to open the assignment, the assignment does not open. Looks like it is being locked, and I don't have access to open it.

Hello @NaziMohseni
Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with grading an assignment. It may be an issue with your internet browser or device. It could also be a closed course or grading period. If you click on the assignment, and do not have access to the speedgrader submissions to grade or annotate, the course has likely been closed by the school. You would want to speak with your school directly to see about getting access to enter grades for a closed grading period or term. If it appears that you should be allowed to enter grades within the speedgrader or gradebook directly, you should try clearing your cache and cookies and/or trying a different device or browser.
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
Hopefully this helps!

Hello, Thanks for your advise. My issue is already been resolved.
That is great that your issue was resolved. I am interested in knowing the solution to your problem.
Thanks.
I reached out to support team, and they change my role in those classes. My role was as a teacher, and they changed my role as Instructor.
Thank you. That is good information to know. However, I find it strange that teacher permissions did not allow for you to grade assignments.
