Grading Symbols on Student View

I work with students to review their grades and we have no idea what some of these symbols mean.  I've asked and researched and never get a straight answer.  I've included a screenshot - this is a teacher who i guess is not necessarily putting in full grades for formative assignments - some have the ✔️ while others have a - or X.  And then there's the link (as seen on the bottom out of 15).  Does that mean the teacher graded it but isn't posting the grade?  Would love to know what these different symbols/marks mean - better yet if there's a PDF or link to a page where I can find this so I can easily share with others who are wondering the same thing.
