Can someone please tell me how to upload my Essay Assignment into turnitin for plagiarism checks

Hello,  @capr1   and welcome to the Community.  From your question, I'm assuming you are a student.  If so, you will need to talk to your teacher about how to upload your assignment into TurnItIn; your teacher has their own account settings here.  This Community is for asking questions about Canvas.

Hi Caprice - There's a good chance that your teacher has enabled TurnItIn to be connected to your Canvas course. Therefore, you can go ahead and submit your essay in the assignment that's listed in Canvas. They'll likely be a small box you'll have to check to agree that the work is your own before it's sent through the plagiarism check. You may even be able to see those results right in your grades page or assignment details, depending on what your instructor has chosen.

I recommend getting in touch with your instructor or Canvas Admin in such cases.

One more quick solution is reviewing the Canvas blog Canvas and Turnitin

You don’t have to submit an assignment anywhere separately for it to be checked for plagiarism. If your instructor has chosen Turnitin as the plagiarism checking tool for the essay, your paper will be automatically run through it after it is submitted. You need to follow just a few steps to submit the assignment and check the similarity report if this feature is enabled.
