How can we add internal course codes that are not visible to students/ course dashboard?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi Dean,
I honestly don't think so. In my district, we allow instructors to change the course code in image 1 above because that is what students see in the breadcrumb trail when they are in a Canvas course. The code in image #2 is what we use for internal coordination and students do not see it. (It is tied to our SIS)
If you have additional questions about this, you may want to reach out to Canvas support.
Can you please clarify your question? Are you referring to the course code under Settings> Course Details? (see screenshot #1) Or the course code in Setttings> Sections? (see screenshot #2)
Thanks Andrea for your response.
I'm referring to the course code under course details. I'm wondering if there's a way to assign course codes to courses without the students seeing them. It's an internal report from our end.
Thanks a lot
