Hide all content from students

How can I hide everything from students view at once--all assignments, files etc

?  (I want to publish so I can contact my students, but my content is not what I want them to see).

In order to make these changes, you will use the Course Navigation links.  The students will see only what you want them see.  Anything that you move to the bottom section will not be seen by the students.  After you make those changes, be sure to do a "Student View" of the course and then you will be able to see how it appears to your students.
