I’m not exactly sure what you mean. Has your school purchased the paid version of Canvas? If so, then Canvas is updated monthly (via a Release Schedule), so those updates are pushed out automatically by Instructure. But, if you have Canvas installed locally on your own school servers, then your school’s IT department would be the one to apply updates.
