[ARCHIVED] How can I tell if a student has viewed an assigned video?

I have assigned a point value to videos I have assigned the students to view.  How can I tell if they have viewed the video?  Will it automatically appear?  Do I have to check the analytics?

If you have Studio then you can check the insights for the entire class or each individual student How do I view user insights and analytics for Canvas Studio media in a course as an instructor?‌

If you are not using Studio then I would suggesting How do I view the page views for a user in an account?‌ 

Analytics should help you too but I really like the two options above.
