I am an instructor, and I cannot find a recent post that answers this with the options I have. I want to add a banner to the top of my courses, but I'm having trouble figuring out how. The most recent search I can find is from 2020, and I do not have the options mentioned. Can anyone walk me through this? Thank you.

@JulieMcCallum - Correct, banners can only be added to pages through the Rich Content Editor. They cannot be added above Modules.
You could set a page as the homepage of your course that has a banner, and then students could navigate to Modules through the course navigation menu.
