Removing Events from the calendar once completed?

HI,

I hope someone can assist. I have a course in Canvas where all the assignments shown on Canvas are not all assignments that are actually completed on Canvas. This causes an issue while I am completing an assignment on the separate app; they are still showing in the to-do section of my agenda, even though I have finished them.

While I know I could remove the course from my calendar altogether, that would not help with the assignments that are completed in Canvas or the fact that I won't now be able to fully see the things I need to do at the beginning of the week before I complete them, even if they are done through a separate app. I do like them there before lol. It's after they are completed and still showing in Canvas that has my OCD going crazy.

My question is, can we mark those assignments completed somehow so they come off the agenda once we know we have finished them for sure? I hope this makes sense, and thank you for how ever can answer. I did try finding something on the questions and video how-tos.

Hi Nicole! I understand your frustration with an inaccurate to-do list! This guide explains how to remove unwanted items from your to-do list. However, one thing to note is that it won't remove it from showing as "Overdue." It should come off your to-do list once your instructor provides a grade. If there is any way for you to "Submit" the assignment, that will also help. Depending on the assignment settings, you might submit a text entry that says "Done." Just to ensure it is off your to-do list and does not show as past due. I hope this helps!

Hi @NicoleMichelle -

If you log-in to Canvas with a browser, do you see a different list than what's visible in the Canvas app?
