How do I give my course a "nickname" or a different title?

How do I give my course a nickname or a different title? I would like to see my course titled as "Western Art" instead of Fa19 ARTH-2710-LO1. I did this last year with other courses, but I cannot remember how to do it.

Hi  @gentryguymon  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

You do that with your Course Cards on the Dashboard, or in Course Settings (although some schools restrict the permission to change a course name).

• To do from Course Cards on Dashboard check out https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10588-4212717404 Keep in mind when you do it from here, you students can change that name on theor own dashboards.
