How do I reorder question groups

I looked through the page and cannot find and answer to my question.

There is an Update Group button which I don't see covered. 

I am guessing that this updates changes you made to the questions but does NOT change the questions in existing quizzes, as my hopeful faculty would like it to do. 

Can anyone confirm? Add provide a link that explains?

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with reordering question groups. Are you talking about linking a question group to a bank within a quiz and then re-ordering them once they've been tied to the question bank? If so, there isn't a way to reorder that manually once you link to a question bank and it will be randomized by default. If you want them in a specific order, you can choose "find questions" from the guide you posted and choose specific questions in order and add them to the quiz. 

Or are you trying to manually move question groups around within a quiz after you've established and linked them? If so, you can manually drag and drop the question groups by choosing the 8 small dots to the left of the title of the question group. This way you can quickly reorder the groups in any sequence you need to.

I believe that I have a similar question. 

I have a quiz where all 23 questions are already "question groups" of 5 questions. 

I would like the 23 question quiz to randomly order each Question (question group) each time the quiz is taken. 

I have watched a video on how to randomize questions by dragging them into a group. 

However, this technique does apparently not allow you to drag one question group into another question group to randomize their order of presentation of the groups.  

Is there a way to do this?
