How to remove course from showing items in to-do list?

I have one course that isn't an actual class but instead an advisory hub for my major. Every announcement from this course creates a to-do list item which then spams my to-do list. These aren't assignments or anything relevant to my to-do list so I would like to make it so that this course is not a part of my to-do list. How do I remove one course from my to-do list/exempt one course from my to-do list?

Hello @NikkiFlowers and welcome to the Community! It sounds to me like you are in List View on the Dashboard, which includes announcements for all the courses you are enrolled in (including advisory hubs). Unfortunately course-specific items cannot be hidden from that list. However, if you switch to Card View the announcements are not listed but assignment due dates and calendar events are:
