How to turn on access for teachers to generate pairing codes.

I am a Canvas Admin for my school. I see there is a feature for teachers to generate student pairing codes. That feature is not turned on for teachers in my district. Where can I turn this on in the Admin side of Canvas. I already tried it in "Permissions" and then "Course Roles" and it didn't transfer over for teachers to create the pairing codes. Do I need to wait 24hrs or something? or id there another way to turn it on.

Hi @AaronH,

I believe the two ingredients you need are to have self registration enabled for observers and enable the permission "Users - generate observer pairing code for students permission." When you enable that permission for instructors, are you able to generate a pairing code as an admin from the User Settings page?
