An Instructor recently requested that I, as the Canvas Admin, delete a Group Set that a Student in the course created. The Instructor was unable to do that nor was I. There is no option of using the kabob (three vertical dots) for this specific Group Set although another Group Set has this option. The Student (nor other Students) cannot see the Group Set that they created, but the Instructor and I can. Is there a way to delete this tab?
There was an old thread posted on this topic, but no resolution. If nothing comes up here, I will contact our Canvas Support folks; however, I prefer to do things on my own and contact them when something truly important comes up.
Thank you!

Hi there @TomFederowski ,
The Student Groups tab is built into the course's people page, you cannot remove it.
You can only delete groups that are created inside the tab, and any group sets the teacher creates.
I hope that helps,
Noah

Thanks, Noah,
I am tracking now. I just looked at another course and see that the tab is there. All makes sense since I could not see the tab acting as the Student, but Instructor and I were/are able to see it. I'm thinking there was a bit of miscommunication from the start as to what the Student says they did.
Learned something new today that I can pass along to the Instructor.
Appreciate all of the support this community provides!
Cheers!
Tom
Yep! It's a tab for the teacher only.
Best to you!
Noah
