Hi,
I am new to Canvas. I am trying to understand how it works. I have registered on Canvas. After I did log in, I can't see admin access to my account. I can't see any relevant settings for admin. I can't see admin on the left panel menu. Please find attached the screenshot. How do I get admin access?
I have another couple of questions regarding the Canvas. Please help to understand better.
1. If I create a teaching video, Where do my students watch that video? On canvas site? or My own portal that can integrate with Canvas?
2. How do I am able to manage student access?
3. Where do I can find my institution url?
Please share any url that has detail explanation about above doubts. I know I can do some research, But I have very short deadline.

Hi @OktaTest
If you are using the "Free for Teachers" version of Canvas at https://canvas.instructure.com , you do not have any administrator role, only a teacher role. Only institutions that license their own Canvas instance from Instructure (or people who are running their own open-source version of Canvas on their own servers) have administrator access to Canvas. For more information about licensing Canvas, you'll probably want to contact the Instructure Sales team (https://www.instructure.com ).
To answer your other questions:
1) It is up to you where your students view your teaching video. If the video is hosted on an external service, you may be able to embed the video in your Canvas course, or link to it from your Canvas course, depending on what sharing options your video service offers.
2) There are instructions for inviting students (and other teachers) to your course at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-add-users-to-a-course/ta-p/1119
3) Unless your institution has its own license for Canvas, you will not have an "institution url".
