I want to make attendance reports, but the platform asks me for the SIS number. How can I get that number or is there something I need to do (setting), or am I not doing it right

Hi @Robaguilar76 -
Assuming you are a Teacher/Instructor in a course: if you click on People and see your list of students, there usually is a column for Login ID, SIS ID, Section, etc
If you do not see SIS ID, it's possible that your district or institution has turned off the permission for you to see it.
I personally haven't used the Attendance features, so I'm sorry I'm not able to provide more help with that.
Here are some guides that might help:
Hi @Robaguilar76,
The SIS number for a user (whether a student or a teacher/instructor) is usually their school's ID number. For example, at my school our ID numbers are formatted as L00123456.
I would recommend that you contact your school's Canvas team.
