[ARCHIVED] I need to have Webcam in use, but not Lockdown Browser. How do I do this?

I have a project that requires is timed and requires students to complete an Excel and Word stats assignment. The also have to open up a website to get their data. They don't now what it will be until they open the timed assignment. I just want the webcam footage to make sure that they are the one doing the work. How can I set this up? Thanks.

When you set up the quiz/assessment, you need to make sure that you do not have Lockdown Browser checked to be used.  For the webcam, is there a certain tool that you usually use?  Also, will this all be done at the same time together or will students do it at different times?  If you are doing it together, you could use Zoom with your students and require them all to share their screens  and/or webcams with you so you can see what is happening.  Hope this helps.

The assignments are asynchronous. Zoom would not work.

Then, what you could ask the students to do is to video themselves using the Canvas video recorder or another video recorded and upload it to Canvas. I'm not saying this is ideal, but just a thought.
