I'm trying to export my gradebook, and while all of the individual assignment grades export fine, the 'total' column (which is the students' course grade, and is the weighted total of the various assignments) does not export. The column title appears but the cells are empty. (I can see the total within Canvas, just not in the export).
I really don't want to have to hand enter each student's final percent score in Excel. Any suggestions on how to correctly download the total score?

Well you are one step better off than me. I do not get a Total column exported at all - I thought that I used to get that total column but I just did a download and I do not see it.
As for your case, just scroll the excel file over to the far right the last 4 columns(in my case) with numbers are the final grades for the course - if it is the end of the semester and all grades are in, all the grades should be the same. You can just copy one of those columns of grades over to your total column.

Wow, there it is! Thanks!
It's in a column titled "Current Posted Score" three columns from the end (where no one is likely to look for it). That makes no sense at all.
Thanks again; you've saved me quite a bit of trouble.
