Inactive student not showing up

A student from my 4th period was transferred into my 2nd period. His grade is now wiped clean but grades are due. How do I see what his old grade was from 4th period. I have tried clicking "show inactive students" in the grades section but nothing happens and his name doesnt pop up. How do I find out what his grade was?

Hello @meagand if you have the ability to add students, just add him back to the 4th period course and all his data will return.  My guess is your institution deletes the students when they move them versus deactivating them.

Thank you for the help. What if their data is also blank in their old period after adding them back in?

I am not able to add students to my class.  Is there an alternative for me?

@KIMBERLYNUEZ  Most likely, the admin for your school has placed limits on who can add students to courses, so reach out to them directly for additional assistance.
