I'm not clear on what you mean by "inconsistent". From the two screen shots you've included in your question, it looks like the top one is for a Canvas Quiz, and the bottom image is for a regular Canvas Assignment. The two content types, by their nature, are going to display different things. For example, the Quiz item will display the number of questions in the quiz, but an assignment would not have questions...so there is no need to show that kind of information. For the assignment screen shot, it looks like this one accepts *.doc and *.docx files ... compared to a quiz that normally does not accept files (unless you have a file upload question in the quiz).
