Is Canvas working on a annotate feature for quizzes?

It would be helpful if students were able to draw out their responses to questions. I am aware that this is an option in assignments, but then I am not able to add multiple choice questions or other question styles. I have seen that some people use outside drawing tools but I feel that is too difficult for my students and the end goal is to not make them leave Canvas.
