There are concerns raised by our teachers that few of their students who were invited to a particular course were not able to receive the invitation as it does not reflect in their dashboard. What seems to be the problem?

Hi @mjmorano Canvas doesn't set a limit on how many students can be enrolled on a course, although once you get to 2000 students or more on one course it can become problematic for the teacher as some pages such as the Gradebook can take a long time to load.
The issue that your students are experiencing could be because the dashboard doesn't automatically show all courses that a user is enrolled on, it just shows the ones that have been "favorited". There is an "All courses" screen that can be accessed from the Courses menu on the left. This has your full list of courses and shows which ones are favorited - the favorites have a yellow star. A user can choose favorites by clicking on a star to turn it yellow, it will then appear on the dashboard. See this page for more details: How do I customize my Courses list as a student?
It's also worth getting the teacher to check that the course has been published and it doesn't have availability dates in the course settings that prevent students accessing it outside of a specified date range. If everything looks OK in the course settings and the students still can't see the course even on the All Courses screen, log a call with Instructure Support through the help menu so they can check if there's anything wrong with the course.
