Is there a way to mark the list view "read" on Canvas?

The "new activity" button in the list view (I prefer it, so I know what assignments I have for the day) is, for lack of a better word, annoying, and I have read the feedback already. Here is what I am talking about with a screenshot (the link redirects to snipboard.io, so the link is safe.) Is there a way I can mark all of them as read?
