What web browser are you using?
If you are not using it, have you tried to use Google Chrome?
If you are using Google Chrome, have you tried to clear your web browser data? There is a guide from Canvas at How do I clear my browser cache and cookies? - Instructure Community - 43 but I also recommend Clear Cache, Cookies, and History in your Browser (WhatIsMyBrowser.com).
If you are still having problems, I would recommend that you reach out to your school's Canvas team for help. They should provide instructions/options for how to contact them by clicking on the "Help" area of Canvas.
