Late Submission Policy Dedution Options

Is there a way to have another option on the late work policy deductions. I know that a percentage (points) can be deducted by day or hour. My classroom policy is that I deduct a 30% for late submissions in general. Is there a way to have that as an option so I do not have to change my grading policy?

Adding a option for a one-time deduction is an excellent suggestion. The best way to make Canvas better by adding new features is to use the idea process here in the Instructure Community. Information on how to do this is on the page How do Ideas and Themes work in the Instructure Community? .
