My colleagues and I are having issues using the new "average" Proficiency Calculation setting. When setting up outcomes, they appear as they should on assignments and on the teacher view of the Learning Mastery Gradebook, but not on the student view.
On the student view, the initial "2 of 13 mastered" (for example) is visible, but if you open that dropdown to see which outcomes have been mastered, the screen disappears. Weird.
I've double checked that using any of the other Proficiency Calculations (decaying average, most recent, etc) do NOT cause this problem, and DO allow students to see their mastery scores accurately. It seems as though just "average" is the problem.
Any ideas or something I'm missing?
UPDATE: Apparently this is a known bug on Instructure's end. Seems like a glaring issue for a newly rolled-out feature.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thank you @ReidHayes for including those screenshots and for your update about it being a known issue. That means Instructure's developers are working on a fix.

I don't know that I would qualify this as "solved" or that a "solution" has been found given that the issue is still present without a fix. All we know is that Instructure is also aware that it is a problem.
Yep, same problem here. Invisible grades isn't great...
Any news? A blank gradebook basically means you can't use the average setting even though it's there. Any way to get a progress update?
