Lite Shells

I was told that we don't have the option to use a Canvas "Lite" template. Does anyone have a work around? We need to just have a gradebook, a discussion board and a repository. We can't do it manually,(ie) creating a template, upload it to Commons and then download it to every course in the district. It has to be auto coded as a Lite Shells template.

We were not able to find a way to make a lite version, so we are going with the regular version. Thanks for checking Robbie!

Can you use a parent course with most of the navigation tabs hidden? Use API calls to hide tabs in the relevant courses.

In any solution teachers would be able to make the hidden tabs visible
